Ekrem holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from Kadir Has University in Istanbul.

Ekrem is a research professional with extensive experience managing large field teams in challenging environments in different countries (Syria – Lebanon – Yemen – Turkey). Throughout his work in an international third-party monitoring company, he has gained an in-depth understanding of various sectors as well as a strong grasp of the humanitarian-development-security nexus.

Previously, Ekrem worked in the media and advocacy department for a Syrian NGO, where he focused on issues related to the protection of civilians\humanitarian workers and promoting human rights
