Job Title: Fundraising Manager
Department: Fundraising Department
Reported to: Executive Director
Job Location: Remotely, with ability to travel

Job Purpose:
Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, identify potential new funding sources and opportunities, initiate relationships with potential donors, and increase overall funding for the organization
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of TDA’s overall vision and strategy for all programs and activities.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising action plan, including short-term and long-term goals.
- Identify and research potential funding sources, including individual donors, corporate sponsors, and government funding.
- Lead the preparation and submission of grant proposals and funding applications.
- Advise on effective use of technology and online platforms for fundraising campaigns.
- Be primarily responsible for the drafting of project proposals and fundraising initiatives.
- Coordinate the preparation of modification requests for donors, including proposal revision, budget realignment, and other changes, while ensuring compliance with donor guidelines.
- Attend meetings to identify opportunities for new grants.
- Ensure consistency in proposal writing by adhering to TDA’s policies.
- Maintain efficiency, effectiveness, and professionalism in relationships with donors.
- Develop and implement tools for effective proposal writing.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date filing system for all aspects of grants management.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Executive Director, within the scope of competence.
Academic Qualifications:
Relevant academic and/or professional background in the fields of international development, transitional justice, political science.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in NGOs management, proposal development and programs reporting.
- Excellent writing skills in English at a native-speaker level and demonstrated ability to write proposals under tight deadlines.
- Experience conducting capacity building activities and enthusiasm to share knowledge and information with others.
- Working knowledge of budget development and management
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.
Skills:
- Proven experience in successful fundraising for non-profit organizations and proposals writing.
- Strong knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Familiarity with the sector and potential funding sources.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the organization’s team.
