Ola Albarazi is a Syrian human rights activist and program manager of the Victim Support Program since 2019. She has been working with groups of victims and marginalized people in both Syria and Turkey for the past 10 years. Ola has extensive experience in dealing with sensitive activities, networking, and creating strong relationships with stakeholders. She also has deep knowledge of designing networking campaigns and awareness-raising activities.
Previously, Ola worked with the Local Coordination Committees, which was the first local network to organize work among peaceful groups throughout Syrian territory and issue reports on demonstrations as part of the popular movement in Syria. She was also part of the establishment of the Center for Documentation of Violations, which documented the violations that were occurring at the beginning of the Syrian revolution by all parties.
Ola has also worked as a consultant for a working group of Syrian organizations on rebuilding in Syria, and with Women on Waves on raising awareness about abortion and domestic violence in Syria.
