The Day After, represented by its Program Manager Mr. Abbas Al-Mousa, participated in the fourth meeting organized in joint efforts by TDA and the Dutch and Swiss Foreign Ministry in Lausanne, Switzerland, on September 23-24, 2018.
The meeting was held with the presence of more than 30 Syrian organizations and a number of government representatives and ministries of foreign affairs.
The aim of the meeting was to coordinate between Syrian civil society organizations and the International, Impartial and Independent Mechanism (IIIM).
Participants discussed IIIM mechanism in receiving and collecting and documenting data from corroborated organisations, documenting information, and building law cases process against war criminals in Syria. As well as its findings after two years of work to conduct an investigation on individuals responsible for the most serious crimes in Syria, and start independent and fair criminal proceedings under international law.
